Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SMO-48295-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the City of San Mateo as represented by Stephanie Pinon.
The Project is limited to repairing two bank failures and stabilizing approximately 1203 square feet of the south bank of Laurel Creek on three parcels and in the right of way. The Project consists of both above top of bank and in-channel components, including excavating bank soil and stream alluvium, temporarily dewatering and diverting water from the channel, placing rock toe in the stream and rock skeleton on the banks, constructing a vegetated soil lift (VSL) revetment, installing plantings below and above top of bank, tree plantings, and removing invasive plant species.
