Document Description
This project is proposed as a bridge maintenance in San Diego at 13 various locations on I-5. The purpose of the project is to improve drivability and preserve the life of the existing pavement due to ware of the infrastructure. The work is needed to address spalling on the deck and rail, cracks in the pavement, and some components in need of replacement. The scope of work will include methacrylate and place polyester concrete overlay on bridge decks, replace approach slabs, replace Joint seals, and repair spalls on deck and rail. At location 3, Structure 57-0581L (Fallbrook Junction OH, location 3), eroded voids will be backfilled with slurry concrete. No vegetation removal or soil disturbance anticipated. All work will be within Caltrans ROW.
