Document Description
The project would replace the Wilmington Ave. Bridge over Compton Creek. This includes demolition of the existing steel girder bridge, concrete piers, and bridge deck and the construction of a new precast, prestressed, concrete box beam structure supported by pile foundations, as well as a new pier, abutments, and a new bridge deck. The following would also be included: reconstruction of sidewalks, driveways, roadway approaches, bike path located along the northwest corner; construction of retaining walls; and drainage improvements. Minor modifications to the existing abutments and channel walls would also be needed. Temporary and permanent right-of-way acquisitions is anticipated to complete this project.
