Document Description
County Service Area 16 (CSA 16) provides water service to the community of Shandon. The purpose of the CSA 16 Shandon Dual Water Tank Project (project) is to increase the water storage capacity of CSA 16 to meet the identified need for increased emergency and fire flow storage requirements. A new 350,000-gallon tank, to be used in addition to the existing 212,000-gallon tank, will increase the water storage capacity to 562,000 gallons. The new tank will consist of a 23.6-feet tall by 60-feet wide welded steel tank constructed immediately adjacent to the existing tank. The new tank color will meet County standards for visual resources and will be selected to match the existing character of the surrounding area.
