Zone Amendment (ZA) 24-03, amending Section 17.67.050, “COMMERCIAL MARIJUANA OPERATION AS A COMMERCIAL USE” of Chapter 17.67 “MARIJUANA ACTIVITIES” of Title 17 “ZONING” of the City of Anderson Municipal Code.
In order to protect the public health, safety, and welfare, the Planning Commission will review and make a recommendation to the City Council to amend Anderson Municipal Code Section 17.67.050 to regulate cannabis dispensaries, cultivation facilities, commercial cannabis activities, and cannabis deliveries.

The Planning Commission hereby finds that the action to adopt this Ordinance to amend Section 17.67.050 of the Anderson Municipal Code in its entirety is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code Section 21000, et seq.) (CEQA) because the Planning Commission hereby finds that it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility the adoption and implementation of this Ordinance may have a significant effect on the environment, and the Ordinance is exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Sections 15061(b)(1), 15061(b)(2), and 15061(b)(3).
