Document Description
This project is located on Interstate 580 (I-580) within the City of Oakland at two bridges: Lakeshore Park Undercrossing (UC) and Adeline Street UC, at postmile (PM) 43.5 and 45.7 respectively. The purpose of this project is to preserve the structural integrity of these bridges by overlaying the bridge decks with polyester concrete. This will address existing cracks, deterioration, and other defects which would negatively impact the traveling public. This project is needed because previous surveys in 2022 found that the Lakeshore Park UC and Adeline Street UC had damage to their bridge structures and rehabilitating the structures would also bring up their federal ratings.
