Document Description
The project proposes to construct a permanent stop log rack in the DWR owned fenced staging area on Grizzly Island west of and adjacent to the Suisun Marsh Salinity Control Gate (SMSCG). Stop logs are utilized at the SMSCG to help control the flow of water. The stop logs were newly fabricated at the beginning of the SMSCG refurbishment project, and were moved from gate to gate during the project. Currently, there are no storage racks for the stop logs. The purpose of the racks is to store the stop logs when they are not in use for maintenance. The project proposes to install a permanent stop log storage rack in the DWR fence yard at the SMSCG that will be used to store three (3) stop logs.
