Document Description
The project is limited to the replacement of 6 parallel culverts that have corroded. The removal and replacement of culverts, rebuilding of the embankment and roadway, including placement of riprap and grading for the correct flow of storm water will occur within approximately a 0.17-acre area of previously impacted intermittent stream habitat. Vegetation removal is limited to the removal of one crape myrtle tree with a 4-inch diameter at breast height, approximately 0.01 acre of Himalayan blackberry (Rubus armeniacus) intermixed with cattail (Typha sp.) and tule (Schoenoplectus sp.), and non-native grasses. Culvert replacement will occur when the stream is dry.
