Document Description
This Project consists of improvement work at the existing on-campus parking lots (G-2, H-4a, H-4d, H-4e, H-16) located within the developed areas of the campus core. The project includes pavement overlay, reconfiguration of parking spaces to improve space management and circulation. Traffic marking and striping for the reconfigured parking lots may possibly result in a gain of some parking spaces within the existing lots. Furthermore, the project includes limited landscaping removal and installation, signage, and related site work to reconfigure accessible parking spaces with ramps, curbs, sidewalk, and concrete aprons. At the H-4d parking lot, two eucalyptus trees will be removed to rectify pedestrian trip hazards from uplifted sidewalk and asphalt. The University anticipates the improvements to commence in the Summer of 2024. This Project would benefit University staff, students, and the visiting community.

The project has minimal new structures, consisting of sidewalks and ramps, and are located on the same site as the structures replaced, having substantially the same purpose and capacity. It can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the proposed project involves any activity that may have a significant effect on the environment.
