Document Description
Perform repairs between Post Miles (PMs) 11-15.6 along State Route 84 in Alameda County. These repairs include performing pavement repairs, replacing failed guardrail at PM 13, address drainage issues at PMs 11.15 and PM 15.5, rebuilding the lost roadway at PM 15.5, and repairing eroded slopes and installing netting to catch falling rocks at PMs 12.82, 13.85, and 13.93. The route traverses through Niles and Sunol Canyons adjacent to Alameda Creek and parallels the Southern Pacific and Niles Canyon Railroad on the north side of the canyon and the Western Pacific Railroad on the south side of the canyon. All Work is within Caltrans Right Of Way.
