Document Description
The District proposes to install four parking-lot-canopy photovoltaic (PV) systems and a rooftop PV system at the school, along with accessible parking facilities. The two canopy arrays over the parking lot would each be about 81 feet long and 37 feet wide, and each would contain 110 modules. The array on the western side of the campus would be about 140 feet long and 37 feet wide. These arrays would be tilted, ranging from 14 to 18 feet in height. Several trees may need to be removed for this project, however all would be landscape species under 25 years of age. The rooftop array would include 380 modules and would cover most of the gymnasium roof area (about 13,000 sq. ft.). The purpose of this project is to provide renewable electricity to the grid and reduce energy costs to the District. The project would be constructed over between June 2025 and January 2026. No new or expanded uses of the school facilities are proposed as part of this project.
