Document Description
This project proposes to cold plane and overlay northbound and southbound State Route 261 with rubberized hot mix asphalt in order to conduct routine maintenance for pavement preservation. Both NB and SB Route 261 will be overlay with 0.1’ of Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt Hot Mix Asphalt from 0.6 mile north of Portola Parkway Overcrossing to Junction Route 241/261 in the City of Irvine. All work will be done on existing pavement. There will be no Disturbed Soil Area (DSA). The project is financed with state funds only. All work will occur within Caltrans Right of Way, no new right of way is required.
