Document Description
Caltrans is proposing to modify a single-lane roundabout on Interstate 5 (I-5) from post-mile (PM) 56.4-56.7 at the northbound (NB) on/off ramps and Hasley Canyon Rd., in the unincorporated community of Castaic within Los Angeles County. The proposed work would include improving the truck turning radius at the roundabout intersection; installing a truck apron at the roundabout center; modifying and reducing the curb median island approach; and replacing the damaged Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) slab at the NB off-ramp. This project requires no excavation and no vegetation removal. No public utilities will be relocated. All work will take place within the existing Caltrans right-of-way.
