Document Description
The proposed project consists of the CHP Merced Office Roof Repair and Replacement as portions of the roof are damaged and the flat portion has reached the end of it useful life. The activity includes the removal of the existing flat roof including to the structural deck, gutters, downspouts, and any dry rot damages to the substrate of the approx. 12,900 square foot flat roof. Damaged roof plywood crickets, roof drains and overflows, gutters and downspouts, parapet cap and counter flashing will be replaced. This portion of the roof will be replaced with a new TPO single ply system. For the sloped portions of the roof, the damaged concrete tiles will be replaced and repairs made to the substrate, if needed. In addition, the existing skylight and the parapet ladders will be removed and replaced. All construction debris will be properly disposed in compliance with existing regulations.
