Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code, Section 26012, approved a commercial cannabis Specialty Indoor license submitted on 3/5/2019, by Jet QNA LLC. The project is located at 2235 Artesia Blvd, Long Beach (APN 7119-020-028) in Los Angeles County. The subject site is currently developed with a 6542 square foot (sf) industrial building on a 0.21-acre parcel. The project includes approximately 5000 sf of mature indoor cannabis canopy and approximately 500 sf of immature canopy. Associated features include a pesticide and chemical storage area, processing area, packaging area, harvest storage area and cannabis waste storage area. Project proposed interior improvements include adding new walls, new ceiling and associated plumbing, mechanical and electrical upgrades.

Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
