The project is Categorically Exempt pursuant to 15301, Existing Facilities of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, which applies to negligible expansions of use and 15331, Historical Resource Restoration/Rehabilitation, which applies to maintenance, repair, stabilization, rehabilitation, or reconstruction of historical resources in a manner consistent with the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. The proposed design review would authorize the expansion of the existing building to accommodate the existing commercial business in an existing commercial building. Additionally, the project aims to replace a damaged rear wall with an addition.
