Document Description
Retrofit measures to extend the existing partial scour walls to the bridge soffit by constructing new infill walls between the columns at Piers 4 to 12 and installing pipe seat extenders at both expansion joints to the bridge to help control movement of the bridge deck during a seismic event. Two pre-cast flumes would be installed between selected bridge piers to provide fish passage through the riprap underneath the bridge. Each flume would be three-sided and approximately 75 feet long by 26 feet wide by 3.5 feet deep. A new wildlife crossing (pathway composed of gravel or sand) would be installed along the south side of the channel between Piers 4 and 5.
