Document Description
The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) approves of the supplement to the Closure Plan for the hazardous waste facility permit at the General Environmental Management Facility (Facility) at 11855 White Rock Road, Rancho Cordova, CA 95742. The Facility must implement its closure plan, which has been supplemented to address the contaminants of potential concern (COPCs) within Areas A, B, C, and D at the Site. The proposed supplement to the Closure Plan, the Concrete Removal Work Plan dated April 26, 2024, involves the removal of concrete impacted with lead, dioxins, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) quantified as diesel (TPH-d), confirmation sampling, and the preparation of a closure report.
