Document Description
The project proposes improvements to the UC Davis Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to help operators manage flows for diversion to existing storage facilities. The improvement project is an upgrade of connections between existing storage facilities including the existing Filter Feed Pump Station, Headworks, Effluent Pump station, Drying Bed 3, and the North Solids Storage Basin. The renovations improve diversion of raw wastewater flows from the Headworks facility to storage and diversion of final effluent from the Final Effluent Pump Station manifold and emergency overflow to storage. Additionally, new automation will be installed in order to prevent backflow. There is not expansion of processing capacity or operations proposed with these improvements.
