Document Description
The Davis Campus proposes to remove approximately 60 trees on campus. All 60 trees have been identified by a certified arborist as life safety threats due do tree death and structural decay. The trees will be removed by UC Davis Grounds and the Arboretum Public Garden staff. This project is required maintenance of campus public spaces and will address life safety issues.

This exemption applies to the operation, repair, maintenance or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities or mechanical equipment, involving negligible or no expansion of the existing use. In addition, none of the exceptions for application of a categorical exemption apply to this project.
