Document Description
The proposed project (the Proposed Action) is the approval of the 2024-2026 SCIA between IID and Reclamation pursuant to Reclamation’s Lower Colorado River Basin System Conservation and Efficiency Program. Pursuant to the SCIA, IID would conserve a target volume of 250,000 AF, up to a maximum of 300,000 AF, of Colorado River water each year for calendar years 2024 through 2026, targeting a cumulative total of 800,000 AF, but no more than a cumulative maximum total of 900,000 AF of conserved water, which will remain in Lake Mead to benefit the Colorado River System. The conserved water would be System Conservation Water would be created through the implementation of on-farm conservation programs.
