Project consists of converting existing multi-purpose practice field to a varsity softball field, including minor alterations to land by converting natural turf to synthetic turf on land with a slope of less than 10% that does not involve the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees (Class 4); construction of minor structures, including two batting cages, public address system on existing backstop, and a relocated scoreboard accessory to existing institutional facilities (Class 11); and all additions would not increase student capacity or add classrooms as they are conversions and upgrades to existing athletic facilities (Class 14).
