Reasons for Exemption
Project is categorically exempt, consistent with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 (CEQA) and the State CEQA Guidelines, pursuant to Title 14, Cal. Code Regulations Section 15061 (b)(3) Review for Exemption, pertaining to the common sense exemption. The proposed Project is consistent with the criteria outlined in CEQA Guidelines Section 1561(b)(3) Review for Exemption because the activity is covered by the common sense exemption that CEQA applies only to projects that have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment.
