Document Description
Caltrans proposes to replace loop detectors at six locations on I-680 in Contra Costa County from 0.5 mile south of Sycamore Valley Road to 0.1 mile south of the Lilac Drive undercrossing. Existing loop detectors will be abandoned in place and new ones installed. Existing electrical boxes will be used. New trenches will be cut, and new induction wires placed. Some project elements will occur off the paved roadway, but all work will be within Caltrans right of way.
