The scope of work includes driving steel and sheet piles behind the existing timber retaining wall to provide slope stability, scour protection, and mitigate slope failure. Additionally, the stream debris buildup that has formed will be removed. All work will be within County Right-Of-Way. On January 9, 2024, M.O. #20, Imperial County Board of Supervisors approved the resolution declaring a State of Emergency for the Kalin Road Bridge over the New River, Bridge No. 58C0100. The Public Works Department is diligently working on all aspects of the emergency repair of the Kalin Road Bridge

Emergency repairs include those that require a reasonable amount of planning to address an anticipated emergency.
