The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a project is to provide a sidewalk to pedestrians on the northbound section of HWY 49 in El Dorado County on State Route (SR) 49 at post miles (PM) 4.67-4.84. The project is needed because there currently is no sidewalk access on this section of HWY 49 for pedestrians to use.
