Document Description
The goal of the project is to increase native wildlife and pollinator habitat through installation of a native plant hedgerow. Supporting practices for the plantings will also be included such as irrigation, hand weeding, and mulching.The 0.41-acre project will enhance wildlife habitat connectivity for a diversity of birds, mammals, and other wildlife. The hedgerow plant palette will reduce the vulnerability of wildlife to phenological mismatches by increasing the number of months and the amount of resources (cover, food) that are available.
