Document Description
Swanson Engineering, Inc. (applicant), on behalf of FBT, Inc. (owner), has requested a Zone Change to allow the continued operation of a trucking yard on an irregular shaped parcel, approximately 69-acres located at 75 E. White Lane and 2572 S. Union Avenue [Assessor Parcel Numbers (APN) 172-140-05 and 172-160-14]. The subject trucking yard would be further developed with two commercial coaches respectively for a security guard and site manager to control on-site traffic. The site would be paved for truck storage and driving aisles. Ingress and egress to the site will be provided from E. White Lane and S. Union Avenue. There will not be access to the site from Pacheco Road. This facility will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week consisting of 1202 truck parking spaces and 418 car-passenger vehicle spaces with associated landscaping and paving. There will be two employees on site. The gates will be open during the day, and closed at night.
