Document Description
The City proposes to construct and operate a new Environmental Utilities (EU) Operations Center to address the City's growing demands for municipal services, State requirements to electrify the City’s waste collection vehicles, as well as changing solid waste regulations. The project includes two primary components: a Resource Recovery and Transfer Operations (RRTO) facility, to manage the City’s waste, recycling, and organics materials; and a Corporation Yard that would house various EU divisions that would be relocated from the existing Corporation Yard on Hilltop Drive. The project would be developed in phases over the next 30 years (2028-2058).
