Reasons for Exemption
Class 32 exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section No. 15332 applies to in-fill development projects. The project is consistent with the general plan policies and zoning designation and regulations. The proposed development occurs within city limits on a project site of no more than five acres and is surrounded by urban uses. The project site is 2.8 acres and is surrounded by residences and commercial development on all sides. The project site is not a habitat for endangered, rare, or threatened species. The completion of tl1is project would not result in any significant effects relating to traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality. This site can be adequately served by all required utilities and public services. Additionally, the exceptions listed in Section 15300.2 do not apply to the project or the site.
