Document Description
The project will be located east of the town of Linda, between 2 miles and 4.9 miles east of Doolittle Drive, on Hammonton-Smartsville Road in Yuba County. This project will consist of pavement resurfacing/rehabilitation and shoulder widening along Hammonton-Smartsville Road. The project will take place entirely within the County’s existing right of way and will not add new lanes or capacity to the roadway.

The project is exempt pursuant to Section 15301(c) of the California Environmental Quality Act (Existing Facilities). Section 15301 exempts projects that involve the repair, maintenance, and minor alteration of existing public or private structures involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agencies determination. The project would restore and widen pavement within an existing section of roadway owned by Yuba County.
