The project is exempt pursuant to Section 15301(g) of the California Environmental Quality Act (Existing Facilities). Section 15301 exempts projects that involve the repair, maintenance, and minor alteration of existing public or private structures involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agencies determination. The project would provide new copies with fluorescent sheeting on existing on and off-premise signs owned by Yuba County.
