The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to replace pavement striping along State Route (SR) 59 in Merced County from north junction of SR 99, 59, 140 to Bellevue Road. All work will be within Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of the project is to bring the striping up to standards The need of this project is to prevent further deterioration of the striping visibility.
