Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to install a raised concrete median on State Route (SR) 4 from Mitchler Avenue to Big Trees Road/Tom Bell Road in the town of Murphys in Calaveras County. All work will be within Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of this project is to reduce the number of broadside collisions. The project is needed to improve safety at this segment of SR 4.
