Document Description
Prop 40 YS and Recreation Development Program provided Van Nuys Recreation Center Soccer Field Project with a grant with an open period from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2025. Fencing has been replaced and sports netting has been installed underneath this grant. Prop 1 Housing-Related Parks Program has also provided funding for the new synthetic soccer field, irrigation upgrades, and accessible paths of travel. The purpose of this project is to amend the project scope for Prop 40 YS to include the installation of security cameras to the current project scope of new soccer turf, irrigation system upgrades, fencing, sports netting, ADA and motorcycles parking spaces, and accessible paths of travel. Beneficiaries are patrons of the park.
