Pursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA Public Resources Code, Section 21083 et. Seq.), this project meets the criteria for a Categorical Exemption under Section 15301 (Class 1 – Existing Facilities) and Section 15303 (Class 3 - New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures) of the
CEQA Guidelines in that the proposed project involves negligible or no expansion of use consistent with the criteria set forth in Section 15301 and the conversion of existing medical office space to commercial office space does not involve hazardous waste or exceed 2,500 square feet as set forth in Section 15303. No further environmental review pursuant to CEQA is required.
