Document Description
Both Wolverton and Crabtree hydrometeorological stations are equipped with aging technology and require sensor upgrades to meet the demands of forecasting in a shifting climate. The proposed project would add important sensors at both stations and replace the existing tower and add a precipitation gage at the Wolverton station to provide accurate snow pack and climatic data necessary to forecast snowmelt. The proposed folding tilt pole would also address potential safety concerns with ongoing maintenance associated with the Wolverton station.
