Document Description
The Applicant proposes to drill and operate a new vertical groundwater well to help supply the potable water needs of the community. The water system consists of 13 wells, 12 horizontal and one vertical. Five of the existing horizontal wells have been dry the last several drought years and the remaining have been declining in production. The new vertical well is needed to replace the system’s declining potable water supply. The new well will be drilled in an area next to one of their existing well facilities that has been cleared of vegetation and graded.
