Document Description
The Environmental Assessment (EA) evaluates the potential environmental impacts associated with the reentry, splashdown, and recovery (RSR) operations of a small, aluminum capsule, known as Ray, by Inversion Space Company (Inversion) within the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Central California. Inversion would launch the capsule on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base (SFB), California.
