Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes an emergency restoration of an inoperable pump station on State Route (SR) 120 at postmile 6.23 in Stanislaus County. The scope of work is to clear, dewater, and replace rusted guide rails with stainless steel ones. Additionally, the project will also install two new grinder pumps. All work is proposed on Caltrans right-of-way. The purpose of this project is to repair collapsed piping caused by failing brackets and support structures, which has rendered the pump station unusable. The need for this project is to prevent and mitigate the loss or impairment of life, property or essential public services.
