Document Description
This project is a director’s order emergency contract to replace the existing chain link perimeter fence and gates with wrought iron and chain link (with cladding) fence and gates. The scope of work includes removing all existing chain link fencing, sliding, swing, and double gates; installing a vandal-deterrent fence, sliding, swing, and double gates; replacing electrically operated Security Metal Sliding Gates operators; and installing stainless steel plates along a part of the perimeter fence. An emergency response is needed due to numerous break-ins, theft, and vandalism at multiple maintenance stations throughout District 6 that adversely affect daily operations.
