Document Description
The City of Rocklin Public Works Department proposes this project that includes the removal and replacement of the existing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) mechanical equipment and roof located at the City of Rocklin Police Department facility. Premature failure and deterioration of the single-ply roof have been observed. The roof requires removal and replacement to prevent further damage to the remainder of the facility. Removal of the roof-mounted HVAC mechanical equipment will be necessary for replacement of the facility roof. The HVAC mechanical equipment have reached their average useful life and will be replaced at the same time as the roof. The City of Rocklin Police Department facility houses a number of public uses including offices, dispatch center, locker rooms, temporary holding facility, training and community meeting room, indoor pistol range, auxiliary, storage, and related facilities. The proposed project would provide a continued safe and stable work environment for the City of Rocklin Police Department staff and assist them with their responsibility to enhance public safety and investigate crimes within Rocklin.
