Type, Section or Code
15301, Existing Facilities and 15331 (Historical Resource Restoration/Rehabilitation)
Reasons for Exemption
The project is categorically exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 (Existing Facilities) because the project consists of renovation of an existing structure with no increased or negligible increase of use. On a separate and independent basis, the project is also exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15331 (Historical Resource Restoration/Rehabilitation) because the project consists of maintenance, repair, restoration, preservation of a historical resource in a manner consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties with Guidelines for Preserving, Rehabilitating, Restoring, and Reconstructing Historic Buildings.
