Document Description
Caltrans proposes a pavement preservation project in Imperial County on I-8. Placing micro-surfacing over existing AC pavement and dig-outs on the main lanes. All work will be within the State ROW and the existing pavement limits, except for some routine shoulder backing (0'-3' from edge of pavement) as needed at various locations, fog sealing of the existing AC dikes. Other work includes re-striping, rumble stripe (if applicable), and other miscellaneous enhancements. The work will be in Imperial County at Imperial County Line (PM R0.0R) to the 98/8 Interchange (PM R10.3) and I-98 to I-8 Interchange.
