Document Description
A new and improved North Beach Campground sign is designed to replace the existing sign that is in disrepair at 399 S. Dolliver St, Pismo Beach, CA. The current sign poses a falling hazard and exhibits signs of rot and decay. The replacement sign aims to mirror the aesthetics and quality of our recently replaced Oceano Campground sign, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing experience for visitors. The sign sits directly on State property and does not encroach on other property lines. The new sign will be in the same footprint as the current sign, just slightly bigger. The project involves relocating the old sign to a railing on a temporary basis to allow for the installation of a new sign. Additionally, the existing concrete footings will need to be demolished and new footings poured to support the new sign. The new concrete pad that will be constructed is estimated to be around 240 inches in length, 60 inches in width, and 24 inches in height. The new concrete pad is designed to be durable and long-lasting, with 12 inches of it buried underground for stability and the remaining 12 inches exposed for signage placement.
