The project would improve safety by reducing collisions during cross traffic turns on this section of U.S. Highway 101 in Mendocino County, from Post Mile R9.5 at Hopland Overhead to Post Mile 10.8 at Feliz Creek Bridge. The project would widen and modify the alignment to bring the highway to standards and accommodate a left turn pocket and merge-lane at La Franchi Road Intersection.
