Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes the La Franchi Safety Project on U.S. Highway 101 in Mendocino County between Post Miles R9.500 and 10.800. Project features include widening and alignment modifications to bring highway to standards, and to accommodate the left turn pocket and merge-lane at La Franchi Road intersection at PM 9.88. Two (2) soldier pile wall sections are proposed in the NB direction on the right of the road to accommodate the widening.
