Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to repair and replace eleven (11) culverts and restore slope and shoulder on State Route 99 from postmile 11.51 to 11.86 in Merced County. The purpose of the project is to address shoulder sinkhole, washed out end sections and fire damaged culverts that could lead to travel lane failure. The need of this project is to prevent and mitigate the loss or impairment of life, property, or essential public services.
