Document Description
Redding Electric Utility (REU) proposes to remove approximately 839 linear feet (at the Texas Springs substation) and 851 linear feet (at the Eureka Way substation) of existing chain link fence, fabric, and privacy slat material from the posts, and replace it with expanded metal panels. Work includes removing and disposing of all existing chain link fencing, material, and privacy slats (posts, rails, barbed wire arms, and gate frames to remain in place); reinstalling existing signage; trimming and installing expanded metal panels; installing mid-height brace rails; reconnecting the existing ground wire; and, raking crushed rock.
