Document Description
The work included the installation of a new booster pump intended to deliver potable water trucked to the plant to the existing 500,000-gallon storage tank, installation of a new owner-furnished generator, installation of an automatic transfer switch and new utility meter/main panel, recoating of the existing water filtration system steel tank, replacement of the filter media, internals, and valves, and other related required work.
This project improved the system’s treatment efficiency, water quality, and reliability by allowing hauled potable water to be distributed to the CSA 7 customers in the rural La Honda community during water outages due to the drought, Public Safety Power Shutoff, severe weather events, major breaks, and plant shutdowns.
